Board of Directors
The Board sets the direction of the Authority and holds its management to account for the running of the ports.
Governance
What the Board does
The Ports Authority is a statutory body, and its Board carries responsibility for the policy and general administration of the Authority's affairs. It approves strategy and budgets, oversees the performance of the ports, and answers for how public maritime infrastructure is managed.
The Board brings together appointed members alongside senior officials whose departments work closely with the ports, including Border Services, Public Works and Customs.
